After almost 2 full days of travel last week, Mom and Dad are getting settled in their new 2 bedroom apartment in Solo, Surakarta. Once they arrived in Jakarta, Dad was very sick with a terrible cough but he is recovering. They had a 6 hour delay from rain storms, to take their one hour flight from Jakarta to Solo. They moved into their apartment on Friday afternoon and couldn't be happier with their new home. They are so grateful to be in a great area with access to all the amenities they could possibly need.
They've already fallen in love with the people, saying that everyone is so welcoming and interested in them. Everyone smiles at them :) They attended two wards on Sunday and Mom was able to share her testimony in Bahasa and Dad shared his with a translator. They said that the people loved them for trying and they are going to study like crazy to speak the language! Good luck!
