Week 65: Missionary Work: Sharing What Is in Your Heart"

Here are some photos of "Missionary Work: Sharing What Is in Your Heart.”  (Elder Uchtdorf April 2019.)
Sister Yari sits below a message on the wall of her home  “never give up”.  She served a full time mission in Indonesia, a mother of two children and a widow who loves God with all her heart. She is learning to draw close to God.  Others notice there is something unique about her.

As we fill our heart with love for others we see everyone around us as a child of God. We respect others. We weep with others and have compassion.

Strive to emulate the love of Christ and strengthen others. These little girls lost their father recently.

Learn about Christ’s ways. Strive to deepen a personal commitment.   Development:  ”For the Strength of Youth” June  24-29th 2019 Indonesia.  Leah and Devia are shown in this pull up banner.   As young people grow in confidence  (Yvonne with Sister Miller,)  from opportunities such as  FSY they will gain tools and skills so they can communicate and develop the ability to talk to others and share what is in their hearts.

Don’t give up!   Rejoice with others ( Sister Miler and Johathan))  Missionaries share from their hearts with others. We keep trying to get it right!  One day Sister Miller and Sister Brush  got "matching" “right” without much trying!

There is much to do, where ever we are on this earth.  There are plenty of opportunities to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ with people we live with or work and socialize with.  The Lord has never required expert, flawless missionary efforts.  The Lord "requireth the heart and a willing mind”.  Elder Miller…. its OK you forgot to change your shoes ha ha ha!

Missionary work respects and strengthens others. Here we support a Javanese “remembrance” of a family member that “passed” but with deep humility Sister Miller just could not get the courage when asked to eat the  “goat organ soup”!
Missionaries teach line upon line and little by little.

We sincerely continue from our hearts to invite Sister Sri and Ira to “come and see” His church.
We are recognized in Indonesia by our tags as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where ever we go. We must live consistent with our beliefs and love our neighbors and respect them. We remember there are roughly seven and a half billion people in the world and a small flock of 16 million members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. (See Brock, Daegen and Pierce)
